Named HopeWash, the program enables students and graduates of HIS, a Cavite-based non-stock, non-profit organization dedicated to individuals with special needs,  to be employable and lead functional lives.

For a jumpstart, LG and Bigwash worked together to get the shop up and running all by taking care of the construction and training of the staff, which consists of HIS alumnus. LG also donated 5 sets of commercial washers and dryers, 1 commercial refrigerator, and 1 43″ TV.

Unilever also played a part by donating laundry detergents specially formulated for the commercial washers.

“We are firm believers in HIS’s goal of providing these children a future to look forward to. We want to empower them as much as we are able to. Our intuitive design provides accessibility through straightforward simplicity.”
