With the launch of the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro closing in, more and more information about the two devices continue to surface. This time, a Weibo post has confirmed that both will run on the new gaming-focused G90T chipset from MediaTek.
Another image also confirms that at least one of the devices (or both) will sport a 64MP sensor for its main camera, possibly the Samsung ISOCELL GW1. It also shows a physical fingerprint scanner, which rules out the use of an in-display solution.
The Redmi Note 8 series is expected to make its official debut on August 29, 2019. As always, we’ll do our best to keep you updated on the specs, pricing and more!
