Okay confession, I had already pre-ordered mine via the Square Enix US store because it was previously announced as an exclusive only to that store back in E3. Fast forward to today and a huge announcement was made that confirms the release of both the Deluxe and 1st class physical editions of the Final Fantasy 7 remake in the Philippines!
First up is the deluxe edition. Priced at PHP4,299, the deluxe edition includes the base game in deluxe edition packaging, a Sephiroth steelbook case, a Mini Soundtrack CD, a hardbound artbook, and the bonus summon materia DLC cactuar.
If money ain’t an issue, might as well splurge on one of the biggest games of 2020, right? Go all out for the 1st class edition, which includes all of the deluxe edition contents but with one huge addition, a Play Arts Kai Cloude Strife and Hardy Daytona box set. The price? A whopping PHP18,990.
Again, it was first announced as a US Squeenix store exclusive before but this is just good news for everyone not wanting to go through the trouble of having their items shipped or brought home from abroad.
If you’re simply looking for the game experience, you can have the standard edition which will retail for PHP2,999. Pre-ordering these will get you the Chocobo Chick summon materia DLC and if you choose to go digital, you’ll receive a dynamic theme as well.
I think it’s safe to assume that EVERYONE will be getting this game once it releases on March 3, 2020. I can suspect a lot of people will be calling in sick on that day! In the mean time, feast your eyes on the latest trailer from TGS2019.
