Huawei’s ecosystem has been constantly growing over the years. WIth the advent of Huawei’s new intelligent and connected devices, applications are vital to bring and enrich the experience for consumers.
For many years now, the availability of apps for Huawei devices are growing via Huawei Mobile Services. In fact, according to Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Technologies Consumer Business Group, the AppGallery alone was downloaded for over 180 billion times in over 170 countries.
Huawei’s fully open ecosystem has attracted more than 1 million developers around the world. Since the ecosystem is open for developers, Huawei made sure that all the dev kits are available for developers to make their apps compatible with the core Huawei Mobile services. In fact, at the time of this writing, over 45,000 applications have been integrated with HMS Core and available for consumers to download and use across Huawei’s diverse portfolio of products.
The future is bright for Huawei in the application development scene, and it seems like Huawei is committed to grow it even further. During the launch of Huawei Mate 30 in Germany, he announced that the company has an available 1B USD investment allocated for growing the ecosystem. The fund may be used for development, user growth and marketing.
