The RTX 2060 variant of the Legion Y740 gaming laptop received a lot of love well, the company has now announced the arrival of its more beefed-up variant, now with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q, delivering better graphics performance in just about any game you’ll throw at it.
Legion Y740 boasts a 15.6″ IPS FHD display with 500nits of brightness, 144Hz refresh rate, NVIDIA G-SYNC Technology and Dolby Vision HDR. At the helm is an Intel Core i7-9750H processor, backed by 16GB of RAM and a 1TB Solid State Drive.
Y740’s keyboard boasts 100% anti-ghosting, and packs Corsair iCUE RGB lighting for that added visual zing. It’s also spill-proof, and features 1ms response time to give you that needed edge to outplay the competition.
As part of Legion’s aim to deliver better value for its customers, the Y740 also comes with Microsoft Office Perpetual (It means you own it forever.)
For ports, you get a Mini DisplayPort, an HDMI port, a dedicted Ethernet port, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, and a Kensington lock slot. On the software side, Lenovo Vantage features automated performance, cooling and control settings. It features real-time performance monitoring, RGB lighting controls, and a lot more in just one app.
