OnePlus has just unveiled the OnePlus 7T, which is by far, it’s largest update on a T-phone in the history of the series. Some of this includes a chipset upgrade and major improvements to the camera and display.
The new triple camera is a huge step-up from its predecessor. At the helm is a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor but with a brighter aperture at f/1.6 from f/1.7. This evens the 7T out with the OnePlus 7 Pro. Along with it is a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and a 16MP ultrawide camera with a 117-degree field of view.
The new OnePlus device features Nightscape mode as well as macro mode for shooting from 2.5cm away and 960fps slow-motion mode at 720p.
It features a 6.55-inch display Fluid AMOLED display which allows it to have a 90Hz refresh rate. The display has a 20:9 aspect ratio with a smaller notch that houses its 16MP selfie camera. The display also supports HDR10+ for an expanded color range and has 1080p+ resolution instead of QHD. A new haptic driver also offers a stronger, more natural vibration.
The 7T has a Snapdragon 855+ which boosts GPU clock speeds and is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 storage. Powering the new phone is a 3800mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T, which is 23% faster than the previous 30W Warp Charge. The new Warp Charge technology tops up to 70% in just half an hour.
Out of the box, the latest T-series device with Android 10. It comes in two colors, Glacier Blue and Frosted Silver, both with a very smooth gradient.
The OnePlus 7T will come out initially in India and is priced at INR 38,000 (around PHP 27,900) for the 128GB storage variant and INR 40,000 (around PHP 29,400) for the 256GB option. It will arrive in the US market on October 18 and will be priced starting at USD 600 (around PHP 31,200).
