Vivo V17 Pro to Launch in PH on October 9!

Vivo has recently confirmed that they are bringing the newly launched V17 Pro to the Philippines, and is set for a launch on October 9, 2019!

V17 Pro was recently launched in India, and houses quite impressive specs. It sports a 6.44-inch FHD+ 20:9 Super AMOLED display which Vivo calls Ultra FullView.

Under the hood is a Snapdragon 675, along with 8GB of RAM. It comes with 128GB of storage, and runs on Funtouch OS 9.1, bringing features such as Multi-Turbo and Game Mode.

At the back is a quad camera setup, utilizing a 42MP Sony IMX582 main sensor, along with a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP super wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.

Perhaps the most unique feature of this phone are a pair of front cameras which are housed in a motorized pop-up module. It uses a 32MP main sensor, and an 8MP ultra wide sensor. The popup module also houses the earpiece and flash, which Vivo calls Selfie Softlight. It also features Night Selfie mode, for better looking selfies in low-light.

Vivo V17 Pro packs a 4,100mAh battery and supports 18W Dual-Engine Fast Charging. It comes in two colors – Crystal Black and Crystal Sky.

While local pricing is yet to be announced, the phone retails for INR 29,990 in India.

In the Philippines, Vivo has once again teased the device’s arrival through a silhouette of Maine Mendoza, its newest brand ambassador. In the teaser, the silhouette of the device in her hand has a striking resemblance to the Vivo V17 Pro.
