Vivo V17 Pro Unveiled with Dual Pop-Up Cameras and Snapdragon 675

VIVO has just announced the Vivo V17 Pro with a gorgeous looking new design that features two front cameras in a pop-up module!

It’s a unique looking upper mid-ranger with its dual pop-up camera, which frees up display real estate. Speaking of the display, the V17 Pro has a 6.44-inch FHD+ 20:9 Super AMOLED screen. Vivo calls this the Ultra FullView Display. Underneath the screen is its fingerprint sensor.

The pop-up camera has a 32MP main and an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, the latter with a 105-degree field of view. The pop-up module also comes with an earpiece and a flash, which Vivo calls Selfie Softlight. It is said to help take better selfies in low light. Along with the Selfie Softlight, the phone features a Night Selfie mode that combines multiple frames for better results at night.

At the back is a quad-camera setup with a main 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor coupled with a 13MP 2x zoom telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide angle, and a 2MP depth sensor. The ultra-wide sensor doubles as a macro lens and shoots at as close as 2.5 cm.

The Vivo V17 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It runs on Android Pie-based Funtouch OS 9.1 that comes with features like Multi-Turbo and Game Mode.

Rounding out the specs of the new Vivo device is a 4100mAh battery with 18W Dual-Engine Fast Charging support.

The Vivo V17 Pro comes in two colors – Crystal Black and Crystal Sky. It is priced at INR 29,990 and will be available in India from September 27 and is expected to be released in other markets at a later date.
