The Realme X2 Pro is set to be unveiled on October 15 but the company has announced that along with its event in Spain, the phone will launch simultaneously in the Chinese market at a Beijing event. Ahead of the launch, an official image of the device was posted on Weibo by a company executive.
Some of the specs of the Realme X2 Pro that were previously revealed include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC and a 90Hz notched display. Since then, other specs including Dual Stereo Speakers with Dolby Atmos support, 50W SuperVOOC charging, and a 64MP-led quad-camera setup with a telephoto unit have surfaced.
The Realme X2 Pro also appeared on TENAA revealing that it will have a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a fingerprint reader underneath the display and a 16MP selfie lens tucked in its notch.
Joining the 64MP main camera is a 13MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It will run Android Pie and will be backed by 6GB RAM and 64GB storage but won’t have expandable storage.
The Realme X2 Pro also has certifications from Thailand’s NBTC and India’s BIS which means a launch in both countries may be in the pipeline.
