Huawei has just launched the latest phone in its Nova series, the Nova 5z in China. The Huawei Nova 5z looks to be a cheaper Nova 5i Pro with a new memory combination.
The new Nova device is powered by a Kirin 810 chipset and comes with 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of storage.
It has the same 6.26-inch LCD display with a punch-hole that houses the 32MP front camera, as well as the quad camera system of the Nova 5i Pro that uses a 48MP main sensor along with an 8MP wide-angle shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The Nova 5z is also powered by the same 4000mAh battery with 20W charging.
The device runs on EMUI 9.1 based on Android Pie and comes with the various performance boosters and AI.
The Huawei Nova 5z comes in three colors – Black, Aurora, and Emerald Green and is available for CNY 1,599 (about PHP 11,500) for the 6GB/64GB or CNY 1,799 (around PHP 13,000) for the 6GB/128GB variant. It is uncertain whether the company will launch this globally.
