The former is designed for more casual users, delivering a stable performance for productivity and media consumption, while the latter is aimed at those who want exceptional gaming performance combined with a versatile camera system, great battery life, and a ton of value-added features.

realme 5 i 1Realme 5 has a 6.5-inch HD+ display, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 AIE, backed by up to 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.

realme 5 i 39 It boasts a quad camera system, but does away with the 48MP main sensor, and uses a 12MP sensor in its place. The setup is pretty much the same with the Pro – you get three additional sensors for wide-angle, macro, and depth sensing.

realme 5 pro u 14The Pro variant has a smaller display at 6.3 inches, but with a higher resolution at Full HD+. Under the hood, you get an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE, along with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

realme 5 pro u 57 1Its quad camera system uses a 48MP Sony IMX586 main sensor, along with the same setup on the regular variant – an 8MP sensor for wide-angle camera, and a couple of 2MP sensors for close up and portrait shots.

realme 5 series 2Both phones run on ColorOS 6 on top of Android 9 Pie. The larger realme 5 packs a 5,000mAh battery, while the Pro variant has a 4,035mAh power pack, and supports VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge.

  • Realme 5 will be available nationwide starting October 4, 2019 via physical stores and in Lazada. It will retail for PhP7,990 for 3GB + 64GB, PhP9,990 for 4GB + 128GB, and PhP6,990 for the 3GB + 32GB variant (Lazada Exclusive).
  • Realme 5 Pro on the other hand will be available for offline pre-order from October 4 to 11, priced at PhP11,990 for the 4GB + 128GB variant, and PhP13,990 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. Claiming of units will start on October 12, 2019.
