Shortly after the launch of the V17 Pro Vivo is back at it again, and this time, the brand officially welcomes its current flagship device to the Philippine market, the Vivo NEX 3, ushering ground-breaking innovations which are anchored on future technologies, all aimed at delivering a new level of user experience.
Breakthrough Design
NEX 3 sports a 6.89-inch AMOLED Waterfall FullView Display with FHD+ resolution, support for HDR10, and Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
The screen stretches and curves along the sides to deliver a more border-less view. With a screen-to-body ratio of 99.6% this phone is as close to a truly full-screen design as it gets.
To achieve a more seamless look, Vivo has replaced the physical button with touch controls. Thanks to its X-Axis Vibration Motor, Touch Sense can respond with haptic feedback for a futuristic experience. As expected, you also get an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Premier Photo-Shooting Experience
NEX 3 packs three rear cameras. It uses a 64MP Samsung S5KGW1 main sensor, along with a couple of 13MP sensors for wide-angle and super macro shots. It can do 2x Optical Zoom, 20x Digital Zoom, 4K 30fps video, and up to 480fps slow-motion video recording.
Like the V17 Pro, the NEX 3 also has an elevating mechanism, though it uses a single 16MP camera backed by features like Portrait Lighting Effects, Intelligent HDR, and up to 1080p video recording. Vivo claims that the motor is tested to withstand up to 50,000 cycles.
Boosted Connectivity and Performance
Under the hood, there’s a Snapdragon 855 Plus, 8GB of Dual Channel LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of UFS 3.0 storage. It also boasts dual WLAN Acceleration Technology which allows it to use two Wi-Fi signal networks at the same time to greatly boost network speed.
NEX 3 packs a 4,500mAh battery with Vivo’s 44W Super Flash Charge technology and C-DRX power-saving technologies. It also sports a Vapor Chamber Cooling System to sustain peak performance during heavy usage scenarios.
Beyond AI
Jovi, Vivo’s AI assistant, has now been upgraded for a fully intelligent flagship experience based on the Vivo Computation Acceleration Program (VCAP) which offers AI algorithms for software optimization and at the same time, enhanced user habit learning, delivering a significant speed boost with a personalized experience.
