Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro coming to the Philippines on October 11!

Xiaomi has just announced on its official Facebook the arrival of the Redmi Note 8 Pro in the Philippines.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro is the first quad-camera phone with a 64MP main camera, along with an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP 2cm ultra-macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It also has Ultra nightscape mode, 3D Lighting, AI Beautify, and many other camera features.

The device sports a 6.53-inch FHD+ Dot Drop display. In its teardrop notch is its 20MP front camera that can capture video of up to 1080p at 30fps.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio G90T octa-core gaming processor coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. While giving it juice is a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging and charged through a USB Type-C port at the bottom.

The Note 8 Pro has both facial recognition and fingerprint for security with its fingerprint sensor neatly tucked along with the camera module in the back.

It is uncertain whether or not the company will bring the base Note 8 to the country but it is a possibility. The base version packs a 48MP main sensor, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, and a battery that supports 18W fast charging.
