Lazada 11.11 witnessed new record-high numbers in PH, as millions of Filipinos logged in and selected from over 11 million deals available in what is unarguably the biggest 24-hour shopping festival.
During the first hour, a million shoppers have already joined the event, alongside a million items immediately being sold. By the end of the day, the Lazada Millionaire’s Club, in which sellers who earned past the PhP1M sale mark earn membership, rose to a new total of 1,141 sellers.
The Most Entertaining Shopping Festival Yet
According to Lazada, the event established a new record with 11.11 combined shopping reaching as high as 205,000,000 minutes (that’s watching the entire Harry Potter series 187,000 times). This also means traffic during 11.11 is 6 times higher compared to a typical day.
This feat is linked with Lazada’s expanding offerings on the platform which includes new and interactive and livestreaming content such as GUESS IT!, LazGames, and innovations that enhance the overall quality of the experience for both sellers and shoppers.
Filipinos are indeed savvy in shopping, collecting up to PhP170 million worth of vouchers for the 24-hour sale run. Big discounts were used across various categories, on top of the mark-offs that reached as high as 95%.
Among the top performing brands during the sale inlcude: Xiaomi, realme, and Huawei for Mobile, Coocaa, Philips, and TCL under Home Appliances, Pampers, Huggies, MamyPoko under Mother & Baby, Hyrdo Flask, Flean Kanteen, Mtisubishi under General Merchandise, Maybelline, L’Oréal Paris, Olay for Health and Beauty, and American Tourister, Adidas, and FitFlop under Fashion.
