OnePlus, the brand known for putting out flagship devices at very competitive prices, is once again out with a new dynamic duo. OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro offer a ton of upgrades from their predecessors – a faster processor, better displays, faster charging, and a lot more. Let’s dig in.
OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro boast 6.67-inch and 6.55-inch AMOLED displays with 90Hz refresh rate. The former at FHD+ and the latter at QHD+ resolution. 7T sticks to a flat display that uses a notch, while the 7T Pro uses a curved display and keeps its front snapper in a pop-up mechanism. Both also sport an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, both devices run on a Snapdragon 855+, backed by 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage on the 7T, and 256GB on the 7T Pro. Both run on OxygenOS on top of Android 10.
For its triple camera setups, both make use of a 48MP Sony IMX586 main sensor. The 7T uses a combination of a 12MP telephoto lens, along with a 16MP ultra wide angle lens. The 7T Pro on the other hand, sticks to an 8MP sensor for its telephoto shooter, and the same ultra wide angle camera.
Both can record 4K/60fps video, and boast other features such as UltraShot, Nightscape, AI Scene Detection, and more.
OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro house 3,800mAh and 4,085mAh power packs respectively. Both are capable of Warp Charge 30T, which means 0 to 70% in about 30 minutes for the 7T, and up to 68% on the 7T Pro.
