Rumors have gone around saying that the OnePlus 8 Pro will pack a 120Hz panel, while the base version will have a 90Hz one. The latter is based on the statement in September wherein the company said that all its future smartphones will sport a 90Hz display.

If this is true, the OnePlus 8 Pro will be the first smartphone from the company that features a 120Hz panel.
Despite being months away from both phones being announced, renders of both the base and Pro version have surfaced. Both variants of the OnePlus 8 feature a punch-hole display but the OnePlus 8 Pro features a quad-camera setup in the rear with the base version sporting a three-camera setup.
Whether or not the leak is true or not, we’re at least sure to see 90Hz panels on both. It wouldn’t hurt to actually see the OnePlus 8 Pro have a 120Hz display though.
