Having been teased numerous times, Xiaomi has finally unveiled the much-anticipated Mi CC9 Pro, and so far. it seems to be living up to the hype with its specsheet.
Mi CC9 Pro has a 6.47-inch Super Full HD+ AMOLED display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G, backed by up to 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage.
Of course, the winning piece of this phone is its penta camera system. The main sensor is a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX, which was jointly developed by the two companies, and first seen on the Mi Mix Alpha.
Xiaomi also announced an f/1.7 8P lens, but this is only available on a Premium Edition of the device, working with the 1/1.33-inch sensor, this combination is touted to deliver outstanding detail especially in low-light.
Along with the main sensor, there’s an 8MP telephoto camera that’s capable of 5x optical zoom, and up to 50x digital zoom. There’s also a 20MP ultrawide shooter, a 2MP macro lens, and a second 12MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom.
Mi CC9 Pro runs on MIUI 11 on top of Android 9 Pie, and packs a 5,260mAh battery that, thanks to 30W PD fast-charging, can charge up to 58% in just 30 minutes, and to full in 65.
The device comes in three colors – Aurora Green, Glacier White, and Midnight Black. 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants are priced at CNY2,799 (PhP20,163.15) and CNY3,099 (PhP22,324.26) respectively, while the 8GB + 256GB Premium Edition with the 8P lens will cost CNY3,499 (PhP25,205.74).
