While speculated to be a multi-platform release, nothing has been confirmed until now as a new cover art for Final Fantasy 7 Remake has been revealed, also showing that the title is now a “Timed Exclusive” for the PS4 until March 3, 2021, a full year after release.
This only means that if you’re not playing it on the PS4 when it first releases in a few months, you’ll have to wait for 1 year before playing it on your preferred system. As of writing, no other systems have been confirmed to have it but it is quite safe to assume that the Xbox One (or even Scarlett) will be having it once the timed exclusive period expires.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake will release on March 3, 2020.
