Samsung has officially announced the first members of the 2020 Galaxy A series – the Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy A71.

Both phones features the Infinity – O display. That’s Samsung’s punch-hole display that we’ve seen in the 2019 flagships. Along with this, the two phones have four rear cameras arranged in an L-shape.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 has a 6.5-inch Infinity-O FullHD+ Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Inside its punch hole is its 32MP front camera.

On the rear, it has a mirror back with a diamond-cut design with its quad-camera setup. A 48MP lens sits in the helm and alongside it is a 12MP ultrawide with 123-degree FOV, 5MP depth, and 5MP macro cameras. Features like Smart Switch, Live Focus, and Super Steady Video are included with these.

Powering the device is an Exynos 9611 processor coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It runs on Android 10-based One UI 2.0 and comes with a microSD slot for expansion of up to 512GB.

The new A51 packs a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging and comes in four colors – Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Blue, and Prism Crush Pink.

The Galaxy A51 is priced at VND 7,990,000 and officially hits the shelves on December 27.

The Samsung Galaxy A71, on the other hand, has a slightly larger 6.7-inch display with a larger punch hole for its 32MP front camera. On the rear, it shares the same supporting cameras but has a 64MP main instead of the 48MP sensor.

Powering the A71 is a 4500mAh battery with 25W fast charging and weighs in seven grams heavier than the A51.

It comes in four color options though there’s still no word on pricing and availability.
