Xiaomi revealed the Mi 10 at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit 2019. The device will be one of the fist to be equipped with the new Snapdragon 865.
The company’s CEO, Lin Bin announced gave very little details, but it is speculated that the Mi 10 will share the same 108MP sensor found in the Mi CC9 and Mi Note 10. The Mi 10 is also expected to have flagship-level specs with enough RAM and storage coupled with the latest chipset.
In addition, Bin revealed the company’s plans to launch over 10 5G-compatible smartphones next year. The Xiaomi Mi Watch will also get a 5G modem next year, being the first smartwatch with 5G support.
These are big steps from the company to further their stake in the tech world, specifically smartphones and wearables. It is expected that most flagships will feature the Snapdragon 865 but being first is always something.
