ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Impact Now Available in PH

ASUS Republic of Gamers has just announced that the ROG Crosshair VIII Impact is now available in the Philippines. The ROG Crosshair VIII Impact is the company’s compact gaming motherboard that breaks the 6GHz barrier for CPU and memory.

asus-rog-crosshair-viii-impact-1This is the first Impact in the ROG Cross series and it is based on the Mini-DTX form factor while maintaining compatibility with most Mini-ITX cases.

The new motherboard features an array of 8+2 paired TDA21472 power stages, each rated to handle 70 amps. To prevent throttling, it includes a unique actively cooled VRM and chipset-heatsink combo with dual custom Delta Superflo fans.

asus rog crosshair viii impact 2The Crosshair VIII Impact comes with an expansion card with a heatsink that allows two M.2 drives to be connected via a SO-DIMM interface. It also benefits from OptiMem III which is said to improve signal integrity and mitigate noise.

For audio, the Impact comes with SupremeFX and an ESS ES9023P DAC on an interference-reducing dedicated card. It also features ROG Sonic Studio III for better surround sound. It also includes a dedicated header for USB 3.2 Gen 2 front-panel connectors.

The first 10 people who will purchase the new motherboard and submit their details will get to take home an ROG swag bag which includes a ROG drawstring bag, ROG writing notebook, ROG passport holder, and ROG lanyard. Offer lasts until February 1, 2020.
