MSI kicked off the new decade by announcing its latest laptop offerings for both gamers and content creators at CES 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada. For the latter, the company announced the first mini LED display laptop, the Creator 17 and a pink version of the Prestige 14.
The Creator 17 continues the legacy of the Creator series with content creators in mind and this time becomes the forefront of display technology. The Prestige 14 pink, on the other hand, joins the currently available Pure White and Carbon Gray color options.
The Creator 17 has Mini LED backlighting which delivers vibrant visuals and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits on a 17-inch 4K display. The revolutionary technology is said to deliver brightest whites and deepest blacks with sharper, more detailed imagery. It also supports a wide color gamut of 100% DCI-P3 which makes it a contender for true-to-life color accuracy to human eyes.
The pink version of the Prestige 14 inherits the slim chassis along with a pink tone and simulated diamond-cut trimmings. It is powered by up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX graphics, 3 thunderbolt port, and CalMAN verified display. In addition, its display has a 90% screen-to-body ratio and the True Pixel precise color accuracy of the Prestige series. Its battery is said to last up to 10 hours of productivity.
