Samsung is kicking off CES 2020 with three new Odyssey series gaming monitors with a 1000R curvature which the company believes is the optimal for the human eye’s field of view, and comes in three sizes – 27, 32, and 49-inches.
Leading the pack is the Odyssey G9, which uses a massive 49-inch ultrawide VA panel, with a resolution of 5120 x 1440. It features 240Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, as well as HDR support.
The G7 on the other hand, comes in 27 and 32-inch models, and features a similar design, at a resolution of 2560 x 1440. Both use QLED VA panels, and are VESA DisplayHDR 600-certified.
The three displays are set to be available at the start of Q2 2020, with pricing still to be announced.
