ASUS recently announced the arrival of two new gaming monitors for the Philippine market, to the delight of those who want smooth and fluid visuals in their favorite titles.
TUF Gaming VG279QM boasts up to 280Hz refresh rate at FHD resolution, making it the world’s fastest gaming monitor.
It uses a 1ms FastIPS panel, and has an astonishing 1000:1 contrast ratio. It also features ASUS Extreme Low Motion (ELMB) Sync, which can be used in conjunction with NVIDIA G-SYNC to eliminate ghosting and visual tearing.
VG279QM’s color gamut covers 99% of the sRGB color space, allowing it to produce extremely accurate colors. The display is also HDR400 certified, for wider color range and higher contrast.
VP249QGR is a specialty monitor made for casual gamers and startup builders. It features 144Hz refresh rate with Adaptive-Sync (FreeSync), 1 ms response time, and uses an IPS panel.
Pricing and Availability
TUF Gaming VG279QM and ASUS VP249QGR are priced at PhP24,090 and PhP10,490 respectively. The former is now available in stores, while the latter will be available starting this week.
