ASUS Republic of Gamers has officially announced the arrival of the ROG Phone 2 Strix Edition in the Philippines for PHP 34,995.
The Strix Edition is a variant of the base ROG Phone 2. It packs the same 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with120Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset, and 6000mAh battery as the base version. It also has the same 24MP front camera and 48MP + 13MP dual rear cameras.
Where does the difference lie? Well, the Strix Edition is with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, down from the 12GB + 512GB configuration of the base model. Of course, the price tag has also changed with the Strix Edition selling for PHP 34,995 compared to the PHP 49,995 price tag on the ROG Phone 2.
The ROG Phone 2 Strix Edition is available in ASUS and ROG concept stores.
