Players will be getting new multiplayer maps in Rust and the Atlas Superstore, a new Ground War map in the Zhokov Boneyard, new Gunfight maps, new multiplayer modes like Gunfight Tournaments and the COL playlist, a new operator named Ghost, and new weapons. That’s only for the day one content, which is launching on February 11, but you’ll be getting more content as the season progresses.

Atlas Superstore is a warehouse style supermarket that now houses Al-Qatala forces along with munitions and weapons of war. There are long aisles and corridors as well as empty shelves which you can peek through to gain an advantage. The Superstore is littered with shortcuts and elevated platforms, allowing you to use various long and short range loadouts.

Rust, on the other hand, is in in your face gunfight through and through. Returning from Modern Warfare 2 from years ago, you’ll have to be quick on your feet and be aware of incoming fire from all sides as you race to get the high ground advantage on the oil yard. The map is small compared to the Superstore, so you’ll want to come up with a tactical loadout that will suit your needs as you’ll be facing enemies left and right in quick succession.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players on the Sony PlayStation are in for a treat since there will be timed exclusive content until October 1, 2020. Survive waves on enemies on a new Special Ops map called the Azhir Cave and gain access to a new weapon blueprint which rewards you with a legendary LMG called “Lucky Strike”.

There’s a lot of new content to be had when Season 2 hits so strap yourselves in and stay frosty!
