Good news for Cyberpunk 2077 fans, specifically for the Xbox! In what could only be described as a breathtaking move, users who purchase the game for the Xbox One will “receive the Xbox Series X upgrade for free when available.”
The official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account had this to say:

In line with the Smart Delivery feature that the Series X will be bringing, Xbox is committed to giving users value for their money and this will do just that, allowing users the option to not purchase the Series X version if you already have the title from the Xbox One.
What this also indirectly confirms is that the Series X version of Cyberpunk 2077 will come with graphical updates, most probably a hi-res texture pack to take advantage of the latest hardware.
Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to release on September 17 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC following a massive delay.
