Budget smartphones have only improved over the years offering more for a price that won’t break the bank. This is a large step away from times of basic phones being available at the entry-level point. Vivo has continued to release phones in all price ranges but we’ll take a look at the company’s offerings in the budget-friendly Y-series.
We’ve decided to cut it down to five Vivo Y-series phones. To make it easier for you, we’ve arranged them from the cheapest to the most expensive (we won’t reach the PHP 11,000 mark).
The cheapest phone on this list is the Vivo Y91c. At just PHP 4,999, the Y91c has a MediaTek Helio P22 and a combination of 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It has a 5MP front camera and a 13MP rear shooter. A 4030mAh tops up the Y91c.
As far as color options, you have Fusion Black and Ocean Blue.
The Vivo Y11 is the best-selling Vivo phone in Shopee and Lazada. It packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 along with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. As far as the camera goes, the Y11 features AI-powered dual cameras – 13MP main and 2MP depth sensor. Powering the device is a massive 5000mAh battery.
It comes in two colors – Agate Red and Mineral Blue. The Vivo Y11 is the second cheapest Y-series phone in the list at PHP 5,999.
Next up is the Vivo Y15. Priced at PHP 7,999, the Y15 is the first on this list to feature more than two cameras. At the helm of its AI triple rear camera setup is a 13MP sensor. It is accompanied by an 8MP super wide-angle and a 2MP depth sensor. It is powered by a Helio P22 partnered with 4GB RAM. It also features Ultra Game Mode which allows you to customize settings for each application for a better gaming experience.
The Vivo Y15 is available in Aqua Blue and Burgundy Red colorways.
Reaching close to the PHP 10,000 price point is the Vivo Y91 at PHP 9,999. The Y91 comes with the company’s Jovi smart assistant along with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. Powering the device is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset. It has an 8MP front camera and a dual 13MP + 2MP rear camera setup which comes with AI customized face beauty.
The Vivo Y91 comes in two colors – Starry Black and Ocean Blue.
Lastly, and definitely not the least, is the Vivo Y19 at PHP 10,999. The latest in Vivo’s Y-series, the Y19 packs a combination of a 16MP main, 2MP macro, and 8MP super wide-angle triple camera setup. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P65 coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It gets its juice from a 5000mAh battery that supports reverse charging.
The Vivo Y19 is available in Spring White and Magnetic Black colors.
