Pokemon Home, described as “a place where all Pokemon can gather”, is here and available across the Switch and compatible iOS and Android devices. The main draw here is that you’ll finally be able to store and transfer your beloved Pokemon across compatible titles, namely Pokemon Sword and Shield, Let’s Go Eevee and Pikachu, Pokemon Go, and the Pokemon Bank.
Using Pokemon Home on your Switch will get you a Pikachu while the mobile version will let you choose a starter from the Kanto region (Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur). The gifts alone should be enough reason to start using the service!
As you may know, Pokemon Home is a paid service. There is a basic plan which is free to everyone but Home also has a premium plan, which will allow you to deposit as much as 6,000 Pokemon among other benefits like hosting room trades and the Judge function. Pricing is as follows:
- 1 month = $2.99 or about PHP150
- 3 months = $4.99 or about PHP250
- 12 months = $15.99 or about PHP800
For a full list of Pokemon that you can now transfer because of this service, you can check this link.
Pokemon Home is now available on the Switch eShop as well as on iOS and Android.
