Realme has officially launched its flagship Realme X50 Pro 5G today. Much of its specs are no surprise after the company slowly unveiled them online but now we know the rest of its specs like cameras, memory configuration, and most importantly price.
The Realme X50 Pro 5G is built on a 6.44-inch display Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. The display also has a 180Hz sampling rate and is HDR 10+ certified.
Tucked away in its pill-shaped punch hole in the display are its 32MP wide-angle Sony IMAX 616 sensor and 8MP 105-degree ultra-wide-angle lens. Its fingerprint scanner is also found in the front under its display.
On the rear, is its quad-camera setup with a 64MP main camera at the helm. The main cameras are accompanied by a 12MP telephoto lens with up to 20X hybrid zoom, an 8MP 199-degree ultra-wide-angle which doubles as its macro lens, and last is a black and white portrait lens with f/2.4 aperture.
Both the front and rear cameras come with Nightscape 3.0 for improved low light shooting.
The Realme X50 Pro 5G has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 powering it. This is coupled by three memory variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. There is no microSD card slot though.
It gets its juice from a 4200mAh battery with 65W SuperDart fast charging support which will supposedly top up the device to full in 35 minutes.
Out of the box, it will run on Realme UI on top of Android 10. Other features include dual speaker, a tactile engine motor, and a vapor cooling system. What it doesn’t have though is a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Realme X50 Pro will be available in two colors – Moss Green and Rust Red. It is said to be available in April. The flagship from Realme will cost EUR 599 (around PHP 33,100) for 8GB+128GB, EUR 669 (around PHP 37,000) for 8GB+256GB, and EUR 749 (around PHP 41,400) for the top of the line 12GB+256GB.
