Showcased in an event in Indonesia last Month, Samsung is now set to launch its newest mid-range offerings in the in the Philippines, the Galaxy A51 and A71 on February 4.
Both devices boast edge to edge Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O displays – the A51 at 6.5-inches, and the A71 at 6.7-inches. The former houses an Exynos 9611, coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, while the latter runs on a Snapdragon 730G along with 8GB of RAM. Both come with 128GB of storage, expandable with a microSD card.
As far as cameras go, A51 uses a 48MP main sensor, a 5MP depth sensor, a 5MP macro camera, and a 12MP ultra wide angle lens. It’s the same on the A71, except that it uses a larger 64MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 as compared to f/2.0 on the A51.
Samsung has equipped its new mid-rangers with its signature Super Steady Video feature, which basically reduces shakes, letting you capture those essential moments perfectly.
Both feature Samsung Knox, Bixby, among other Samsung Exclusive services, an on-screen fingerprint scanner, and face recognition. Galaxy A51 comes in Prism Crush Black and Blue, while Galaxy A71 comes in Prism Crush Black, Silver, and Blue.
Galaxy A51 and A71 pack 4,000mAh and 4,500mAh batteries respectively. Both with fast-charging support (15W and 25W).
While official SRPs are still unknown, Samsung has already announced the pre-order details for the Galaxy A71.
