Synology, a renowned brand that focuses on storage solutions, has recently announced ithe DS2420j – a product which aims to address the growing demand for network-based storage for home users.
A multimedia storage for homes
D2420j uses 4-bays, and boasts a maximum capacity of 64TB. It’s designed for home and personal users who want to efficiently manage and share their files, and is ideal for photo storage and video streaming.
It runs on a 4-Core 64-bit 4-core CPU, paired with 1GB of DDR4 memory. It boasts over 112 MB/s of encrypted read and write performance.
On the software side, it runs on Synology’s DiskStation Manager, which allows for efficient and effective data management and security.
