Apart from the HONOR 9A, HONOR also unveiled a new mid-range device. The HONOR 30S marks the debut of the much anticipated Kirin 820 5G SoC.
HONOR 30S has a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS display, and rocks 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage. It runs on Magic UI 3.1.1 on top of Android 10 and has a 4,000mAh battery with 40W wired fast-charging.
Kirin 820 5G utilizes four Cortex A55 cores and four Cortex A76 cores, along with the Kirin ISP 5.0 and the Mali-G57 GPU. The device is touted to deliver flagship performance, along with advanced noise reduction for better image quality.
Its quad-camera system is composed of a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP telephoto unit with up to 3x optical zoom and up to 20x hybrid zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, you get a 16MP selfie camera.
HONOR 30S is priced at CNY2,399 for the 8GB+128GB model and CNY2,699 for double the storage.
