HMD Global has just announced a new lineup of Nokia smartphones along with the return of a classic – the Nokia 5310.
Heading the pack is the Nokia 8.3 5G, which according to the company supports more 5G bands compared to today’s priciest flagship.
It boasts a 6.81-inch FHD+ Puredisplay with a notch that houses a 24MP front snapper. The HDR panel has Adaptive display support which automatically adjusts contrast depending on how much light is available. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 765G. It has 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage.
At the back is a PureView quad-camera system with ZEISS optics. It’s composed of a 64MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide, and two 2MP sensors for macro and depth. The ultra-wide camera is designed with focus on video and low-light. You also get ZEISS cinematic effects, OZO Audio and Action Cam as additional features.
Nokia 8.3 5G is part of the Android One program which means 2 years of upgrades and 3 years of monthly security updates. It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast-charging.
The device comes in only one color – Polar Night and will retail for 599 Euros.
