OPPO Bolsters Commitment to 5G Technology with New Innovations

OPPO recently launched its new flagship smartphones that offer cutting-edge technology – the Find X2 series demonstrate the company’s newest innovations in 5G smartphones. In an effort to expand its IoT lineup, the brand also launched the OPPO 5G CPE Omni, which delivers huge 5G value for carriers and customers in various scenarios.

Premium experience for high-end demands

Find X2 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Edition 02Find X2 series is equipped with a 120Hz Ultra Vision Screen with QHD+ resolution, 120Hz Refresh Rate, and 240Hz Touch Sampling Rate, allowing users to enjoy any content with enhanced smoothness. Under the hood is the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 865.

For its cameras, Find X2 Pro packs a 48MP wide-angle, a 48MP ultrawide angle, and a 13MP periscope telephoto camera. It also boasts All Pixel Omni-Direction PDAF. It supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0, the fastest charging technology that’s commercially available.

OPPO also launched the Find X2 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Edition, which uses hot forging glass technology for a solid and smooth feel in the hand.

New 5G enabled multi-portal ecosystem of intelligent devices for the future

OPPO-5G-CPE-OmniOPPO 5G CPE Omni is powered by the Snapdragon X55 modem, along with the proprietary O-Reserve 5G Smart Antenna and O-Motion 360 5G Antenna, capable of delivering speeds of up to 7.5Gbps in 5G networks.

It supports Wi-Fi 6 and is also compatible with protocols such as BLE 4.1 and ZigBee 3.0, offering users seamless 5G connectivity in various scenarios. It’s set to become available in Western Europe and APAC regions in 2020.

OPPO also launched its first-ever smartwatch, which uses a 3D flexible hyperboloid display. OPPO Watch has built-in cellular connectivity and boasts comprehensive health monitoring. Its Dual-Chip Endurance System and Watch VOOC Flash Charging technology means a full charge will only take 75 minutes.

OPPO expands “5G Landing Project” to accelerate global 5G rollout

As a pioneer and implementer of 5G, OPPO has been proactively promoting commercial its commercial roll out in several aspects including standard patent development, technology research and development, use cases developments, and industry collaborations.

During the launch of the Find X2 series, the company announced the new additions to the OPPO 5G Landing Project – 11 leading global carriers including Vodafone, Telefonica, Telcel, Deutsche Telekom, Bouygues, SFR, and Salt.

OPPO plans to spend RMB 50 billion (USD $7 billion) in three years to create more products and develop technologies.
