Apart from the Find X2 and Find X2 Pro, OPPO also announced (but did not include in the live stream), its own smartwatch. Named the OPPO Watch, it’s an accessory that combines style and function into a sleek and elegant looking package.
OPPO Watch uses a curved AMOLED display surrounded by minimal bezels and comes in 1.6-inch and 1.9-inch variants. It uses aluminum for its body and has a couple of buttons for navigating the user interface. It also boasts 5ATM rating for water resistance.
Like most fitness wearables, it can monitor a broad range of physical exercises. Apart from sleep and heart rate monitoring, it also has ECG functionality. Something not usually found in most other devices in its class.
Under the hood is a Snapdragon Wear 2500 backed by the Apollo 3 co-processor. It runs on ColorOS Watch on top of Google’s Wear OS. OPPO also fitted its smartwatch with its VOOC Charging technology, which means 50% in 17 minutes.
As for pricing, the OPPO Watch 46mm variant will retail for CNY1999, while the 41mm will sell for CNY1,499. There’s no word as to whether this device will be sold outside of China.
