Ahead of the planned PC release scheduled for June 2, Hideo Kojima himself showed us the possibilities of the upcoming Photo Mode, which we so desparately wanted ever since we reviewed the game last year.
Kojima took to Twitter to show us a few samples of the Photo Mode feature:
These are some examples from the Photo Mode in the PC ver. We will introduce on how to create them in another video later. Me, and some staffs that loves to take photos enjoyed making this Mode! Available, June 2nd.

As you can expect, this mode will make full use of the stunning aesthetic that Death Stranding provides, with each shot giving off that cinematic feel. You’ll be given the standard Photo Mode tools at your disposal – overlays, filters, lighting, focus, and everything else but the kitchen sink.
The results? Instagram worthy shots that will once again bring the world of Death Stranding to the social space.
No word yet on whether this mode will be available for the PS4 version but it is safe to assume that a future update to the game will contain this feature, the only question is when.
