Xiaomi has just announced the global variant of the Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9S. The devices are completely identical, apart from the name.
Redmi Note 9S has a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with 450 nits of brightness, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and HDR10 support. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 720G backed by 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage.
The rear quad-camera module is composed of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide unit, a 5MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. The 16MP front camera can record 120fps slow-motion videos.
The device sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and houses a 5,020mAh battery with 18W fast-charging.
Redmi Note 9S has three colors – Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Gray, and is priced at $249 (4GB+64GB) and $279 (6GB+128GB).
