HONOR has just launched the HONOR V6 Tablet at its Smart Life conference. HONOR V6 holds the unique position of being the first tablet with 5G and WiFi 6. We’ve, of course, seen the first 5G tablet in the Huawei MatePad Pro 5G.
Despite the decline in the tablet market, Huawei and HONOR have stayed on top of things and have released tablets at different price points. Last month, we saw the arrival of the Huawei MatePad Pro 4G in the Philippines and even saw the announcement of an entry-level tablet – the MatePad T8 earlier this month.
Going back to the tablet itself. The Honor V6 has a 10.4-inch fullscreen display with 2K resolution. The front of the tablet also features a solo 8MP camera and features a 13MP shooter on the back.
Under the hood is a Kirin 985 chipset and supports WiFi 6+ technology, 160MHz bandwidth, as well as dynamic narrow bandwidth technology.
It gets its juice from a 7250mAh battery with 22.5W super-fast charging via a USB-C port. In addition, the tablet has the Huawei self-developed Histen 6.1 3D sound effect and four large-amp speakers.
The new HONOR tablet comes with a stylus named the Magic Pencil. The stylus is said to have 4096 level pressure sensitivity. To top it all, it comes with a Bluetooth mechanical keyboard.
The HONOR V6 is available in three colors – Wizard of OZ, Titanium Sky Silver, and Magic Night Black. However, its price and availability are yet to be announced. It is slotted for a June 13 release.
