Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series is one of the top names in the budget smartphone market. Today, Xiaomi Philippines announced the pricing and availability of the latest Redmi Note 9 series. The Redmi Note 9 is slightly smaller than the Pro variant with only a 6.53″ FHD+ display compared to the Pro’s 6.67″. It also sports a different processor, namely the MediaTek Helio G85 paired with either a 3GB or 4GB RAM and either 64GB or 12GBs of storage.
Like the Redmi Note 9 Pro, the Redmi Note 9 comes in a quad-camera setup, albeit in a less powerful arrangement. The main camera is now 48MP instead of 64 while the ultrawide camera remains the same at 8MP. The latest two cameras are at 2MP for macro and the depth sensor.
The Redmi Note 9 is available in three colors. Sharing the same color scheme with its big brother is the Aurora Blue colorway. The Polar White has a gradient finish and the Midnight Grey features a similar style to the Aurora Blue.
Redmi Note 9 Price
The Redmi Note 9 Pro comes in either 3/64GB and 4/128GB configurations aside from the colorway. The 3GB + 64GB color option is priced at Php 7,990 while the 4GB + 128GB is priced at 9,990.
