Huawei has officially launched a new budget tablet – MatePad T8 alongside two new entry-level smartphones. The latter of which we’ll get to in another article.
The MatePad T8 is the latest addition to the company’s lineup of affordable tablets. Prior to the T8, its flagship cousin – the MatePad Pro was released in the Philippines mid-April
The Huawei MatePad T8 has an 8-inch LCD panel with a 1280×800 resolution. Powering the device is an eight-core MTK8768 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage expandable through a microSD slot.
The tablet gets its juice from a 5100mAh battery. Out of the box, it boots with Android 10 with EMUI 10.0.1 on top. The MatePad T8 doesn’t have Google Mobile Services.
The Huawei Mate T8 comes in a single color – blue and is priced at RON 500 (around PHP 5,700).
