Acer has just announced new notebooks, desktops, and monitors to expand its ConceptD series. Included in the lineup are the ConceptD 3 Ezel notebooks, ConceptD 100 desktop, and the ConceptD monitors – ConceptD CP5, ConceptD CP3, ConceptD CM3.
The Acer ConceptD series includes a variety of devices to suit the creative needs of professionals like design students, YouTube enthusiasts, CAD designers, video editors, illustrators, and animators.
Acer ConceptD 3 Ezel
The Acer ConceptD 3 Ezel is a convertible notebook in either 14-inches or 15.6-inches with FHD PANTONE Validation that covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut. It gets its name from the Ezel hinge which makes the device switch between six usage modes like stand mode for drawing content or display mode.
The display is perfect for drawing with the Acer Active Stylus which features 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
It is said to have 18 hours of battery life. In addition, the ConceptD 3 Ezel includes programmable keys and a variety of connectivity options like an SD card 7.0 reader and USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3 port.
The ConceptD 3 Ezel is powered by a 10th Generation Intel Core i7-10750H or 10th Generation Intel Core i5-10300H processors, NVIDIA Quadro T1000 (ConceptD 3 Ezel Pro) or GeForce GTX 1650Ti GPUs, and 1TB of PCIe SSD.
The ConceptD 3 Ezel will be available in North America in August starting at USD 1,499.99; in EMEA in September starting at EUR 1,699; and in China in August, starting at RMB 9,999.
Acer ConceptD 3
The ConceptD 3 comes with either 14-inch or 15.6-inch FHD Validated display but has a more traditional clamshell form factor.
It comes powered with the latest Intel Core H-series processors and NVIDIA Quadro T1000 (ConceptD 3 Pro) or GeForce GTX 1650Ti GPUs. As far as battery goes, it said to have 20 hours of battery life, which allows maximum productivity and creativity on-the-go.
The ConceptD 3 will be available in North America in October starting at USD 999.99; in EMEA in October starting at EUR 1,299; and in China in September, starting at RMB 8,999.
Acer ConceptD 100
The ConceptD 100 desktop is ideal for graphics-intensive 2D design and entry-level 3D CAD modeling. It is equipped with a 9th Generation Intel Core processor and either NVIDIA GeForce or Quadro GPU. The small form factor PC comes with up to 256GB of ultrafast SSD storage and 32GB of DDR4 RAM.
The PC front air intake and side-ventilation keep it cool with noise levels under 40 dBA. The body itself has an elegant curved, off-white design that should make it fit into any modern office or workspace.
The ConceptD 100 will be available in EMEA in June starting at EUR 799.
Acer ConceptD CP5 and CP3
The ConceptD CP5 and CP3 are a series of monitors aimed at graphic creators, video editors, and animators.
The CP5271U V model features Delta E<1 color accuracy with PANTONE-Validation. It has WQHD 2560×1440 resolution and VESA DisplayHDR 600. The monitor also is Adaptive-Sync compatible and overclockable to a 170Hz refresh rate.
The Concept CP3 monitor has similar specs and supports 98% of the DCI-P3 wide color gamut, WQHD 3840×2160 with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz and VESA DisplayHDR 400.
The ConceptD CP5 will be available in North America in August starting at USD 749.99; in EMEA in August starting at EUR 759; and in China in July, starting at RMB 4,999.
The ConceptD CP3 will be available in North America in August starting at USD 619.99; in EMEA in August starting at EUR 629; and in China in June, starting at RMB 3,999.
Acer ConceptD CM3
The ConceptD CM3 is a series aimed specifically at professional graphic designers and photo editors.
The CM3271K model offers a 4K UHD 3840×2160 display with a 4ms (G to G) response time, 60Hz refresh rate, and a wide color gamut supporting 99% of the Adobe RGB color space. It is compatible with AMD Radeon FreeSync, and with PANTONE Validation, Delta E<2 and VESA certified Display HDR 400 support.
The ConceptD CM3 will be available in North America in August starting at USD 709.99; in EMEA in August starting at EUR 719; and in China in July, starting at RMB 4,999.
