ASUS ROG Phone 3 Series Set to Launch in PH on August 15

ROG Phone 3 - 01Looks like ASUS Republic of Gamers isn’t beating around the bush with its next launch, and has just confirmed that its newest gaming smartphones, the ROG Phone 3 and ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition are set to launch in the Philippines very soon.

Official pricing, availability, promos, variants, and accessories will be revealed at the event.

ROG Phone 3 in Detail

ROG Phone 3 boasts a 6.59-inch FHD+ 10-bit HDR AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time and is powered by a Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC, with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The device also sports the GameCool 3 system which uses a redesigned 3D vapor cooler, a large graphite film to maximize heat transfer, and an enlarged heat sink.

ROG Phone 3 is equipped with the new AirTrigger 3 system which utilizes a motion sensor, allowing for new gestures that can be performed to control or trigger in-game actions. It still packs a charging port on the side and a cleverly positioned USB-C port at the bottom to keep the cable from interfering with your gameplay.

On the software side, the phone runs Android 10 with the new ROG UI on top. It features enhanced X Mode performance optimization software that allows in-depth customization of specific system parameters, along with meticulously calibrated defaults, so serious gamers can easily unlock the phone’s full potential.

Lastly, ROG Phone 3 runs on a 6,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast-charging. The device is equipped with multiple passive power-saving mechanisms to increase uptime and the battery’s lifespan.
