Huawei MatePad and Sound X - 01Huawei has already hinted at bringing a couple of new devices to the Philippine market – to be specific, the new MatePad and SoundX Wireless Speaker, and today, the brand officially debuted the two devices in an online launch event.

Huawei MatePad

Huawei MatePad - 01Announced last April, the non-Pro variant of the Huawei MatePad boasts a 10.4-inch display with 2000 x 1000 resolution and is powered by a Kirin 810 SoC along with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of storage expandable with a microSD card.

The device uses an 8MP camera at the front and back, runs on EMUI 10.1 on top of Android 10, and packs a 7,250mAh battery.

Huawei Sound X

Huawei Sound X - 01Sound X features Speaker Active Matching technology by Devialet, a French company that specializes in audio. Its Push-Push Acoustic Design allows for symmetrical dual subwoofers that cancel out the vibrations from the other subwoofer.

It delivers 360-degree surround sound with 6 full-range speakers, is certified as Hi-Res, and features Huawei Share to quickly transfer call audio and music to the speakers.

Pricing

Both products will be available in stores starting July 31. Those who will avail of a Huawei MatePad from July 31 to August 2 will receive freebies worth PhP8,171.
