AMD has just announced the arrival of the AMD A520 chipset for the AM4 socket in the Philippines.
The new chipset was initially announced in June for entry-level users alongside the AMD Ryzen 3000XT series. It supports AMD 3rd Gen Ryzen desktop processors as well as support for future Ryzen desktop processors based on the Zen 3 architecture.
The AMD A520 chipset supports x16 PCIe 3.0 and 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports. However, you’re pretty much limited to a single graphics card as it has no dual graphics support. It also doesn’t support overclocking.
ASUS and MSI are some of the companies that have announced their new motherboards the new chipset.
