vivo finally holds the top spot as the most in-demand smartphone brand in the Philippines based on numbers recorded in the April-June Canalys report.
Analyst firm, Canalys, releases quarterly date and forecasts for all mobile phone categories around the world, and in its latest Philippine report, it identified vivo as the top smartphone brand in the country with a record 21% market share in Q2.
Since establishing its presence in the Philippine, vivo has been one of the most aggressive smartphone brands in the market reporting a consistent upward YoY growth. In 2019, the brand managed to close with a 159% growth.
Despite the crisis brought about by the pandemic, vivo was able to successfully launch its newest mid-range devices – V19 and V19 Neo in the country by harping on digital expertise and trademark innovative means, unhampered by the nationwide quarantine.
The brand continues to receive warm reception from the general public and sees no end to as it gears up to bring to the country more of its latest models for the rest of 2020.
