Canon has just launched the EOS R5 and EOS R6 in the Philippines. Both are the latest members of the full-frame mirrorless EOS R series and were released in mid-July. Both are equipped with an improved AF system, shooting speeds of up to 20 fps, and in-body image stabilization.

The top-level image processor has a new algorithm that processes gyro signal data and achieves higher image stabilization effects. The latter comes hand-in-hand with the in-body image stabilization.

The EOS R5 has a 4MP full-frame CMOS sensor offering medium-format resolution. It also sports a dual card slot that supports a CFexpress Type-B and an SD memory card. Transferring is also pretty handy with support for 5GHz and 2.4GHz wireless LAN.

In addition, the company also unveiled that the latest RF-mounted lenses as well as extenders will arrive in the Philippines. This includes the RF100-500mm  and the prime lenses. Availability and price for these lenses weren’t announced though.
