Pre-orders for the Lenovo Legion 7i is still live, and Lenovo had just announced a new addition to its Legion gaming arm, the Legion Slim 7i. Not to be confused with the existing Lenovo Slim 7i, the Legion Slim 7i is thinner than Lenovo’s current flagship devices but packs similar internals.
The main difference between the Legion 7i and Legion Slim 7i is the latter is thinner at 17.9mm and weighs only 1.86kg compared to the Legion 7i’s 19.9mm thickness and 2.1kg weight. In order to sport a thinner chassis, the Legion Slim 7i’s battery is only at 71wHr instead of the 80wHr battery on the Legion 7i.
The Legion Slim 7i also packs some upgrades over the current flagship, such as Windows Hello support, thanks to the power button’s built-in fingerprint reader. It also uses an enhanced TrueStrike keyboard and Legion’s Coldfront 2.0 cooling system.
