OPPO has just released a video that reveals the design of the upcoming OPPO F17 series – F17 and F17 Pro. The company calls it ‘the sleekest phone of 2020” at just 7.48mm and 164g.
The video was pretty straight forward putting the phone next to a vinyl record jacket to showcase how thin the phone is. In addition to this, the design was also revealed. We see a pill-shaped punch hole in the phone’s display for two cameras. Around the back, we see four cameras in a square camera module. The video also confirms six color variants.
However, the video is titled OPPO F17 Pro which may mean we’re only looking at the F17 Pro with this configuration.
A 3.5mm headphone jack is also seen at closer inspection next to the USB port. The rear also shows no physical fingerprint scanner nor do we see a recessed power button as we’ve seen with other side-mounted fingerprint readers. This may likely mean that the reader is housed below the display.
The company has announced that it will soon bring the F17 Pro to India in September. The rest of the specs are yet to be announced.
