The Samsung Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra are packed with a variety of innovations to help maximize your day. Among these include the Note’s iconic S Pen, stunning display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, and seamless syncing with Microsoft services, to name a few.
However, there’s more than meets the eye with the Note20 series, and here are five tips and tricks for the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra.
Capture more of the moment with Single Take
Both the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra introduce an improved Single Take experience on their camera. Single Take captures up to 14 types of photos and videos simultaneously within five up to 15 seconds of capture time.
In the Camera app, tap Single Take mode from the menu options. Set the capture time by tapping the timer above the camera menu and slide it to your desired setting. From here, tap the shutter button, pan around, and the camera will automatically capture the best clips. When it finishes, you can tap the preview thumbnail and it will show optimized results.
In addition, you can use the Color Picking Portrait which chooses a color from the outfit of the subject and applies it as the background to create studio-like portraits.
Find the highest quality Wi-Fi connection
The Galaxy Note20 series also makes it easier to find the fastest and most stable Wi-Fi connections. The two phones provide information and login requirements and quality of the connection below the name of the network to make it simpler.
Share Wi-Fi with friends
In addition to finding it easier to find the best Wi-Fi connection, the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra also allow you to request Wi-Fi access information from nearby friends to avoid constantly having to ask friends for the password.
Share your favorite new song with a friend
While we’re one topic of sharing things with friends, the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra make sharing of your latest favorite song easy through the upgraded Music Share.
Previously, the feature only allowed music to be played on devices connected to a shared friend’s phone. Now, users can listen to the Buds connected to their phone, and the Galaxy Buds connected to their friend’s phone. Simply turn on Music Share, select nearby friend’s Buds, and both Buds will play the same music.
Take control over video watching with Bixby
Lastly, the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra give you more control over your watching experience with Bixby control. Seamlessly switch to a TV screen via Smart View/ Screen Mirroring by telling Bixby: “Play this show on TV” or switch back by saying “Play this show on mobile again” for a continuous viewing experience.
Through Bixby, you can also rewind, fast forward, and pause/play content in addition to searching something by saying the title.
